Effective date: October 15, 2026
1 Scope and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your use of https://techfoward.ai and the TechForward LLC (TechForward, we, us, or our) website content, forms, downloadable resources, and online tools that expressly link to these Terms (collectively, the Website). Please read them before using the Website. Where an acceptance control is provided, selecting it indicates your agreement. Use of the Website after conspicuous notice of these Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
The Website describes cybersecurity, security data engineering, consulting, managed support, staffing, government solutions, and TechForward Academy. These Terms do not themselves create a paid consulting engagement, service-level commitment, employment relationship, or course enrollment. Signed service agreements, statements of work, government contracts, data processing agreements, and separately accepted enrollment terms govern those arrangements and prevail over these Terms for the matters they address. Mandatory law prevails over conflicting terms.
2 Eligibility and organizational authority
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to enter into a paid agreement or create an account without an authorized parent or guardian. Any participation by a minor requires a program that expressly permits it and the required parental or guardian authorization. If you accept these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping any account credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
3 Permitted use and prohibited conduct
You may use the Website for lawful personal, educational, or internal business purposes. You must not interfere with its operation; introduce malicious code; circumvent security or access restrictions; impersonate another person; submit unlawful, misleading, infringing, or unauthorized content; harvest personal information; or use automated means that materially burden the Website or bypass restrictions. You must not copy, resell, or commercially exploit Website content beyond the permission granted in these Terms or a separate written agreement.
The Website does not authorize penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, exploitation, or access to TechForward or third-party systems. Training exercises must remain within expressly authorized lab environments and the applicable lab rules. Report suspected vulnerabilities privately to our contact email and avoid accessing, retaining, or disclosing other people’s data.
4 Assessments and informational resources
Self-assessments, readiness scores, course recommendations, reports, articles, and downloadable resources provide general information based on the inputs and methodology used. They may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate and are not a substitute for a scoped professional review. A score or report is not an audit opinion, certification, legal advice, government approval, or a guarantee of compliance with any framework, contract, law, or agency requirement.
You remain responsible for verifying requirements with the relevant authority and qualified advisers before relying on a result. No assessment or service can guarantee prevention of every security incident. Do not submit passwords, private keys, classified information, controlled unclassified information, protected health information, or other regulated or confidential operational data through public Website forms. Any exchange of such information requires an appropriate agreement and an approved secure channel.
5 Academy waitlists and training
Joining an Academy waitlist is free and does not constitute enrollment, a purchase, or a guaranteed seat, launch date, or price reservation unless a separate offer expressly provides otherwise. Enrollment availability, prerequisites, course content, access duration, fees, payment arrangements, cancellation, refunds, rescheduling, and any renewal terms must be disclosed in the applicable offer or enrollment agreement before payment. These Terms do not establish a blanket no-refund policy or authorize recurring charges.
Training and mentorship support learning and professional development. TechForward does not guarantee employment, promotion, compensation, exam passage, third-party certification, or a particular career outcome. Certificates of completion, if offered, are distinct from vendor certifications, professional licenses, and academic qualifications unless expressly stated. Third-party exams and credentials are subject to the issuing organization’s requirements. Testimonials reflect individual experiences and do not promise the same result for everyone.
6 Purchases and professional engagements
Prices and descriptions on the Website are informational unless incorporated into an accepted offer. A paid engagement or enrollment begins only when the applicable agreement or order is accepted. The applicable transaction terms must identify charges, taxes, payment deadlines, deliverables, refund rights, and cancellation conditions. We will not impose an undisclosed subscription or renewal through these Terms. Nothing here reduces any mandatory refund or consumer protection right.
Submitting an inquiry or booking request does not oblige either party to proceed. Government and enterprise engagements remain subject to the applicable procurement rules and executed contract. Website references to frameworks, vendors, or government registration do not imply an endorsement by a government agency or a guarantee of contract eligibility.
7 Intellectual property and submissions
TechForward and its licensors retain ownership of Website text, designs, logos, software, reports, and training materials. We grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to access the Website and use resources for the purposes expressly stated when provided. Preserve copyright and attribution notices. No ownership or permission to use our trademarks is transferred. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
You retain ownership of information you submit. You grant TechForward permission to process and use it only as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, provide the requested tool or service, maintain security, and meet legal obligations, consistent with our Privacy Policy and any applicable agreement. You represent that you have authority to submit it. This permission does not authorize public disclosure of confidential submissions or use of your name, logo, or testimonial in marketing without separate permission.
8 Privacy and communications
Our separate Privacy Policy explains the handling of personal information. Agreement to these Terms does not constitute consent to optional cookies, marketing texts, or unrelated data processing. Where consent is required, it must be obtained separately. If you request a resource or join a waitlist, we may send the requested resource, relevant waitlist updates, and communications consistent with the notice provided at collection. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Essential transaction, security, and service communications may continue where appropriate.
9 Third party services
The Website may link to external assessment sites, learning platforms, scheduling services, videos, social media, and other third-party resources. Independent third parties operate under their own terms and privacy notices. A link does not transfer control of their services to TechForward. We are not responsible for independent third-party content or availability, except to the extent applicable law or our separate agreement makes us responsible.
10 Availability and warranty disclaimer
We may update, correct, or discontinue Website features. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the free Website and general informational resources are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free content, or that Website resources will meet every requirement. Express warranties and service commitments in a separate agreement remain governed by that agreement. Nothing in this section excludes a warranty or duty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TechForward is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or business interruption, arising from use of the free Website or general informational resources. For claims governed solely by these Terms, TechForward’s aggregate liability will not exceed US $100. Liability relating to paid services or training is governed by the applicable separate agreement.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or statutory remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. If a restriction is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, it applies only to the extent legally permitted.
12 Suspension and termination
We may restrict access to protect the Website, comply with law, or address a material breach of these Terms. Where practicable and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the Website at any time. Suspension of paid services, course access, and any resulting refund obligations are governed by the applicable agreement and mandatory law. Provisions intended by their nature to survive termination, including intellectual property and lawful liability limitations, continue to apply.
13 Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Maryland law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Subject to any nonwaivable right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes governed solely by these Terms will be brought in state courts in Prince George’s County, Maryland, or the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, as appropriate. You and TechForward consent to those courts’ jurisdiction to the extent legally permitted. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class action rights.
Please contact us to seek an informal resolution if a concern arises. Informal discussions do not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or exercising legal rights, and do not change a filing deadline unless agreed in writing.
14 Changes and general provisions
We may revise these Terms prospectively by posting a revised version and updating the effective date. For material changes, we will provide prominent notice and obtain renewed acceptance when required. Changes do not retroactively alter an existing paid agreement, accrued claim, or transaction without the required agreement. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any expressly incorporated Website terms form the agreement for Website use, subject to the separate agreements described above.
